Homing Pigeons as Carrier Pigeons
Homing pigeons are also called carrier pigeons because they used to carry messages. These birds have been very useful during wars. They were used to carry messages through enemy lines. The trick is, these birds will be brought to a certain place, then messages will be tied into their legs, then they will be released to deliver the messages. For the birds to reach their destinations, they should be going to their own home. This means that the receiver of the messages have to be the owner or the trainers of the pigeons.
